UX Thursday #12?

Illustration of, laptop, notebook, person reading

Today on our blog in a variety of ways. We recommend Don Norman's interesting text about empathy in design, and we refer Marcin Rudzik for the second part of the podcast about customer experience. Animators will also find something for themselves, and if one of you is engaged in filtering design, you will find a portion of valuable advice.

1. Why Don Norman Doesn't Believe in Empathic Design

A guest on the Adobe blog Don Norman explains why focusing on empathy in design doesn't make much sense. However, he does not end there by giving an answer to the question: if not empathy, then what else?

2. E-book: Animation Handbook

Ryan McLeod for InVision e-book about the creation of animations and the role they play in the design of digital products. Bon appetit! P.S. We also recommend other items available on designbetter.com

3. Well-designed filtering

Zhiyu Xue in his article tells you what to keep in mind and what to take care of when designing the filtering function.

4. Podcast: Customer Experience in the online store part 2

The second part of the podcast Marcin Rudzik about customer experience. This time focused on the basics of customer journey map design.

5. Not just for Batman fans

Half joking, half serious about user-centered design. We encourage you to take part in the ideation stage!

We remind you that if you would like to share with us interesting links from the world of UX, send your proposals to newsletter@ideacto.pl, and we will be happy to share them in the next UX Thursdays. [FM_form id=” 1″]
