Usability Toolkit from Ideacto

Illustration of, laptop, notebook, person reading

The consulting agency Ideacto has published a document with a detailed description of the utility research tools used in the company.

With the Usability Toolkit, anyone can perform usability tests on their own in a professional way. The toolbox was created as a set of ready-to-use formats, along with a commentary.

Usability research is a key part of the user-oriented design process. Developing even loose standards of cooperation in this field will be of great benefit to both customers and research and design companies. We hope that in this way we will also encourage those companies that have not yet benefited from the benefits of usability testing to study usability.. - says Joanna Kotala, responsible for leading the usability department at Ideacto.

The document was developed in consultation with utility specialists also outside Ideacto. In the future, the document will be expanded with descriptions and formats for further research tools.

The success of the book Usability in E-Business and the growing interest in usability training are further signposts for us. Above all, we want to help companies build competence in the design of useful products. Together with the Usability Toolbox we launch electronic training in the field of usability. - adds Tomasz Karwatka, consultant and partner at Ideacto.

The Usability Toolbox file can be downloaded free of charge from the website školeniausability.pl.
